RoadMapp predicts the future state of a road by coupling data on the road network with causal-related data.
Road authorities and contractors receive large amounts of data on the state of their zones. This makes it difficult to draw concrete conclusions and to take action accordingly. RoadMapp links this data to each other and combines it with causal-related data, such as local asphalt mixes and traffic density. RoadMapp’s insights enable road authorities and contractors to optimize planning around road maintenance. This prevents premature maintenance (and the unnecessary environmental impact) or overdue maintenance (which can be dangerous for traffic). The existing functionality consists of multi-year predictions of rutting. Current development focuses on expansion to include raveling and cracking.
